Fiction and Audiobooks

I have now completed 2 complete works on my Podcast Opera Vox Audiobooks, The Phantom of the Opera and David Copperfield.  I am about to embark on a production of Tess of the D’Urbevilles by Thomas Hardy and hope you can join me on this journey.  You can also click on links to listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts or many other podcast platforms. Please leave feedback and rate my podcast, this helps to get the word out to others who might enjoy hearing these classic books. Thanks for listening.

This section of my blog is devoted to fiction – reading, writing, and perhaps most important narrating.  I have received so many emails, comments and thank yous for my audiobook recordings that I have decided to devote more time to this endeavour.  Complete unabridged recordings of The Count of Monte Cristo by Dumas and the Sherlock Holmes canon can be found on Librivox.  David Clarke on Librivox

Hi, David! So enjoy your narration. I have started seeking out your recordings almost regardless of what novel it is!

Do you take requests? I would so appreciate your calming tones reading just about anything in my life!

    1. David says:

Hi Adrian – not sure if you have picked up that I am doing my own audiobook podcast serializing books – The Phantom of the Opera is complete and I am currently working through David Copperfield – Opera Vox Audiobooks on Spotify and all the other podcast platforms

  2. Hollyd says:

David – We’re thrilled that you’ve setup a way for us to be a small denomination sponsor. We enjoy your narration and book choices tremendously. We’re in the camp of using the Sherlock Holmes short stories to nod off to sleep. Thank you for restarting your narration “hobby” which, to us, is a joy.

    1. David says:

Thanks Holly, as always the comments I receive make it all worthwhile. I am enjoying the challenge of regular narrations and having my own platform has really given me the ability to get them out faster.

  3. Nicholas Mullins says:

Just want to echo the other comments on monte cristo. Excellent recording. Was a pleasure to listen to. Well done on producing it.
