Fiction and Audiobooks

I have now returned from our trip to Europe and have settled on a new and what I believe will be an exciting addition to my Opera Vox library of audiobooks.  For Season 5 Keep and eye out for notifications on your chosen podcast app as I begin to read ‘The Arabian Nights’ by Muhsin Mahdi.  This wonderful collection of stories within stories as part of an overarching plot is a new departure for me and I hope you enjoy it as much as I am going to enjoy narrating.

Firstly, can I thank you for your excellent recordings of Sherlocks Holmes & also the Count of Monti Cristo. Brilliant work.
Two requests please (cheeky I know) if you get the time could you consider reading “The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes” both I my 12 year old son have enjoyed listening to your books at bed time. My wife & I read to him a lot (as he’s dyslexic) but it is good that he hears other clear & concise voices bringing stories to life. Thank you.
My second request is will you be/could you put your new recording on libriVox (where I discovered you). I download them put them on a disk so they can be played anywhere. I know this is the age of the internet but sadly it isn’t a decent signal everywhere – even in the UK.
Either way, God bless you and thank you again for your hard work – you have given great pleasure.

Hi David. Thanks for your wonderful work. The favourite part of my workday is going for a lunchtime walk and losing myself in an audiobook. I wondered if you will add the Casebook of Sherlock Holmes to your wonderful collection some day. Cheers. Zenon (living in Hampshire UK and also lived in the DFW for 11 hot years)
